Global Choices focuses on the frozen ocean. Although it is harsh and remote, the frozen ocean actually affects climate across the whole planet! As sea ice disappears it alters Earth systems, leading to interconnected climate breakdowns from Sweden to Samoa. The organization is pursuing decisive action through the Arctic Ice Force, the intergenerational network of climate activists from around the world. Led by advocates from diverse communities in 9 global "hubs", this campaign teaches people about the importance of sea ice to climate stability in their neighborhood. It also mobilizes the public to demand action from their leaders, bringing the Ice Crisis from the streets to the halls of power.
