Recognizing the impact of community efforts, knowing that they (and us) are valued and that no one is alone in their (our) fight is what fills it with resilient joy. And joy, in the face of a bitter crisis, is what reminds us that giving up is not an option because home is always worth it.

It’s why our Live on the Frontline projects are guided by the common themes of community resilience & radical hope, and the importance of storytelling in shaping identity and building grassroots power.

Starting as a web series where speakers from frontline communities were invited to conversations about their struggles, solutions, and hopes—Live on the Frontlines transformed into a collection of audiovisual creations that went on to be showcased at UNFCCC’s COP27.

In 2024, we used the screening of our creations to a wider audience as a platform to celebrate community, art, and knowledge through our in-person storytelling festivals in partnership with local organizations.
