Through RE!Granting, we empower local youth and frontline communities with the resources to transform their ideas into impactful global solutions focused on social justice and planetary health.
RE!Granting is a global funding initiative by Re-Earth Initiative that supports community-driven, youth-led, and grassroots projects addressing climate impacts, ecosystem degradation, and social injustice.
87% of youth under 30 years-old live in the Global South. We believe that tactical small-scale funding across the Global South is needed to make climate solutions accessible, widespread, and intersectional. We pair up our funding with capacity building to build up the next generation of climate justice solutionists.
The program focuses on the three pillars of Empowerment—assisting individuals and communities in leading positive change; Preservation—supporting efforts to protect fragile ecosystems; and Restoration— facilitating the revitalization of degraded ecosystems to enhance resilience for both nature and communities.
