The campaign, in collaboration with the social movement of "excluded workers" (MTE), aims to address waste management by implementing Extended Producer Responsibility, making companies accountable for managing materials in the post-consumer phase. At the same time, the campaign has a special focus on the social movement of waste pickers who do an incredible job recycling waste but often do not have the necessary resources or recognition from the state and the population.
Jóvenes por el Clima Argentina is an Argentine youth climate movement born in 2019 as the local chapter of the global Fridays For Future movement. Their efforts over the past four years have resulted in 100,000 individuals participating in climate demonstrations across Argentina and the passage of key legislation, including the climate change law, environmental education law, and ratification of the Escazu Agreement.
