Latinas For Climate provide resources to activists throughout the thirteen countries they have active presence in to organize different in-person activities focusing on local and national climate action. Activities include educational and capacity-building workshops in the communities or schools, cleanings, reforestations, summits, fixing a communal space and many other actions that will directly impact the lives of those in the communities where they take place. In addition, they have different presentations of educational and outreach material in physical formats accessible for the activities.
Latinas for Climate is an international network in Latin America that seeks to contribute to the fight for intersectional climate justice, especially from the Global South, and increase the role of women in all their diversity and sexual gender dissents in this cause, through the visibility of ecofeminist perspective, education and empowerment on the climate crisis with a gender perspective and the development of projects that generate awareness and change in diverse communities.
