Save Vietnam’s Wildlife current project focuses on the holistic expansion and restoration of the Cat Tien Forest Complex in Dong Nai, Vietnam. The initiative has two critical goals: first, to ensure the long-term survival of a stronghold population of Asian elephants in Vietnam, by expanding, monitoring, and protecting their core-use zones, and by empowering local communities affected by human-elephant conflict (HEC) to reimburse crop and property damages through sustainable and ethical elephant ecotourism. The project is a comprehensive approach to conservation that not only protects wildlife but also empowers local communities. By fostering economic stability and raising awareness, they aim to create a sustainable future where humans and wildlife coexist harmoniously.
Save Vietnam's Wildlife is a dedicated wildlife conservation NGO based in Vietnam. Committed to safeguarding the country's unique biodiversity, they work to protect endangered species and their habitats.
