Yulidsa is a born-and-raised Peruvian researcher and activist. Having previously worked in the violence against women (VAW) and child exploitation (CE) fields, Yulidsa is now learning to make strides in the climate action field alongside Re-Earth Initiative. As of 2025, she graduated from her Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE) degree, which has been another contribution to her intersectional and interdisciplinary approach to global issues. Beyond the love of nature that runs in her family, her commitment to climate justice stems from her intrinsic belief in global justice. As we often say in the movement: there is no justice without climate justice!  Personally speaking, Yulidsa has always been moved by the optimism and power of active social movements around the world. She has worked with Peruvian activists looking to end energy poverty and create just transition mechanisms for the people, as well as participated in mobilizations for a free Palestine, to protect public university funding, and others!
